Paul Barry-Walsh for setting up the Frederick’s Foundation which helps those disadvantaged to set up their own business
Paul Barry-Walsh has devoted enormous time, money, drive and inspiration to establish Fredericks Foundation, developing it into a highly respected and effective charity. Since 2001, Fredericks Foundation has enabled some 500 disadvantaged people to transform their lives, rebuilding their self respect and personal satisfaction, and becoming economically independent through self-employment.

Tom Henderson set up ShelterBox Trust to provide humanitarian aid worldwide in the form of shelter, warmth, dignity and comfort for people displaced by natural and other disasters. Tom Henderson & ShelterBox have helped an estimated 700,000-plus people in over 50 countries, responding to more than 67 different emergencies.

Vikki George for setting up ‘Post Pals’, a website that invites people to make contact with a child with chronic illness
23 year old Vikki George and two friends are the founders of Post Pals, a website which invites people to send "happy post" to chronically ill children. She and fellow ME sufferers Kat Ramsey and Vicky Miles set up the site to put visitors in touch, via secure addresses, with children being treated for genetic conditions or chronic illness.
