Community Foundation Network (CFN) is the national association of community foundations. Community foundations provide professional and personalised philanthropic advice for local donors, and manage funds totalling over £220 million. Last year community foundations made grants totalling over £67 million, supporting over 20,000 organisations. From 1 April 2009, CFN will be working closely with Beacon.

With more than six million listeners a week, Classic FM is the
largest commercial radio station in the UK and the biggest classical
music station anywhere in the world.
In addition to the radio station, Classic FM has successfully launched
a magazine, a record label, and a TV channel, all of which are designed
to bring classical music to a wider audience.

Liverpool Philharmonic Orchestra, the Philharmonia Orchestra, The

The Community Channel

The Community Channel is the UK's only not-for-profit TV channel dedicated to getting people to do more with their lives. Owned by The Media Trust, the Channel is funded by the Home Office's Active Communities Unit and the Lottery's Community Fund. The Channel is freely available in up to 10 million UK homes, with a potential audience of 29 million adults. It broadcasts 24 hours a day on Sky digital 585 and Telewest 233, and three hours a night on Freeview 46.
